6.A. Approval of Legal Notice & Resolution Establishing Annual District Meeting and Election to be held May 19, 2026 Recommended Action: That the Board of Education approves the legal notice and resolution establishing the May 19, 2026 Annual School District Meeting and Election, Notice of Petitions, and Public Hearing.
6.B. Resolution to Appoint an Assistant District Clerk Be It Resolved, that the Board of Education appoints Giovanna Mascoli as an Assistant Clerk until June 26, 2026 for the purpose of voter registration and absentee ballots in the event the District Clerk is not available.
6.C. Approval of Workers for the May 19, 2026 Budget Vote and Election of Trustees Recommended Action: That the Board of Education approves workers for the May 19, 2026 Budget Vote and Election of School Board Members, as indicated on the attachment.
6.D. Resolution to Approve the County's Board of Election Trained Election Workers as Alternate Workers for the 5/19/26 Budget Vote Recommended Action: That the Board of Education approves the list of trained budget workers from the County’s Board of Elections list to be used as alternate workers for the schools budget vote on May 19, 2026 to be paid at the daily rate of $350.00 plus $25.00 for training.
6.E. Resolution Regarding Statement of Benefits for the 2025-2026 School Year BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools, on behalf of the Board of Education, to execute certain Compensation and Benefits Statements, which statements identify the compensation and benefits to be provided to an unaffiliated employee for the school year 2025-2026. RECOMMENDED ACTION : that the Board of Education adopts the resolution as stated above.
6.F. Side Letter of Agreement Between the Board of Education of the Mamaroneck Union Free School District and the Mamaroneck Teachers Association BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education herewith authorizes and approves a side letter agreement between the Board of Education of the Mamaroneck Union Free School District and the Mamaroneck Teachers Association concerning certain provisions regarding the secondary teachers' daily assignments.
6.G. Side Letter of Agreement Between the Board of Education of the Mamaroneck Union Free School District and the Mamaroneck Teachers Association BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education herewith authorizes and approves a side letter agreement between the Board of Education of the Mamaroneck Union Free School District and the Mamaroneck Teachers Association concerning nonathletic extracurricular stipends.
6.H. Resolution Regarding Use of Reserve Accounts Be It Resolved that the Board of Education authorizes the following budget increases to utilize reserves for Self Insured Health Pans for the 2025 - 2026 school year.
6.I. Resolution to Reject a Bid WHEREAS, on February 3, 2026, the Board of Education of the Mamaroneck Union Free School District advertised a Notice to Bidders soliciting bid proposals for the Capital Improvement Projects for Central School; and WHEREAS, on March 3, 2026, the District received and opened the sealed bid proposals received in response to the notice to Bidders; and WHEREAS, based upon said tally and evaluation of the proposal(s) received it was determined that the bid proposals for #95-04b General Construction and #95-04d Electrical Construction exceeded the District’s budget for the Capital Improvement Projects for Central School. The District Administration recommends that the Board of Education rejects all bid proposals received for #95-04b General Construction and #95- 04d Electrical Construction. The District will self-perform the scope of the work of these contracts; and WHEREAS, based upon said recommendation. The Board of Education believes it to be in the best interest of the School District to reject all bid proposals received for #95-04b General Construction and #95-04d Electrical Construction of the Capital Improvement Projects for Central School; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education hereby rejects proposals received in response to the bid solicitation for #95-04b General Construction and #95-04d Electrical Construction portions of the Capital Improvement Projects for Central School.
6.J. Resolution of an Out of State Field Trip for the 1st Grade Classes at Mamaroneck Avenue School Recommended Action:that the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to approve the attached out of state trip for the 1st grade classes at Mamaroneck Avenue School to the Norwalk Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk CT.
6.K. Resolution of an Out of State Field Trip for the 4th Grade Classes at Murray Avenue School Recommended Action:that the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to approve the attached out of state trip for the 4th grade classes at Murray Avenue School to the Greenwich Historical Society in Cos Cob, CT.
6.L. Resolution for an Out of State Trip for the 5th Grade Class at Mamaroneck Avenue School Recommended Action: that the Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to approve the attached out of state trip for the 5th graders at Mamaroneck Avenue School to Chelsea Piers in Stamford CT.
6.M. Resolution to Execute a Consent Order & Judgment Be It Resolved that the Board of Education authorizes its attorneys Shaw, Perelson, May & Lambert, LLP to execute a Consent Order and Judgment in a tax certiorari proceeding, Marvin D. Reingold, Stanley Fremont & Theodore F. Eppinger v. Town of Mamaroneck and the Mamaroneck Union Free School District. Be It Further Resolved, that the Board authorized the refund of taxes as required by the terms of the Consent Order & Judgment
